If an individual finds work through your agency, they may choose to look at subcontracting using their CIS or Schedule D status, or by becoming an employee of an umbrella company.
At Crest Plus we provide both Self-Employed and Umbrella solutions, and can contact any potential subcontractor/employees who may be interested to discuss and help them understand their options. Our registration process is designed to make life easy.
If the individual chooses to subcontract with us on a Self-Employed basis, we will conduct a Self-Employment Checklist on projects to ensure that they remain compliant; once they have registered with us, we will verify their details with HM Revenue & Customs.
If the individual chooses to become an employee of our Umbrella Company, Crest Plus Exchange Limited, we will provide them with all the statutory benefits associated with being an employee and will explain how they can claim legitimate business expenses, which will be offset against their tax liabilities.
