Compliance

Our group structure falls outside the Managed Services Companies – Finance Act 2007, Chapter 9 – and is able to provide compliant solutions and processes to give you peace of mind in your day-to-day working environment.

Our aim for some years has been to ensure that we protect the interests of our recruitment partners, our subcontractor/employees and ourselves, and our business model and contracting arrangements are therefore compliant with current legislation.

We do this through...

Our attitude and continued commitment to compliant processes
We work in an industry where some chose to take a more 'relaxed' attitude towards compliance. However, we make a commitment to be a compliant contractor and all the processes that we have in place allow us to fulfil this.

Independent Advice
We work closely with leading professional advisors to ensure that we keep up-to-date with the latest developments in taxation, case law and proposed legislation.

Believing in what we do
We believe in what we do and the way in which we do it. We also believe that it is unlikely that HM Revenue & Customs will allow compliance to go away, nor would we want them to. HM Revenue & Customs are unlikely to tolerate non-compliant contractors and subcontractors, and so it is in everyone’s best interests to have an industry where all take compliance seriously and participate on a level playing field.

Statutory Payments
We make all the necessary deductions for PAYE and National Insurance contributions on behalf of HM Revenue & Customs. We also accrue Holiday Pay for you, when you notify us that you will be taking time off it will be paid out to you accordingly. As a Crest Plus Exchange Limited employee, you are eligible for all the normal statutory entitlements, including Sick Pay, Maternity Pay, Paternity Pay, Adoption Pay and Holiday Pay.

Health and Safety
We will conduct a Health and Safety checklist with you before your first assignment, and will provide you with your own personal copy of our Umbrella Plus Health and Safety manual for reference. You should notify us before you change assignment so that we can conduct another Health and Safety checklist for the new site.

It is in your interest to provide answers that are true to the best of your knowledge. You may not have the full benefits of insurance if you fail to return forms when asked, or provide inaccurate information. Any additional information that you wish to inform us about should be attached and returned to us with this form.

If you have any concerns with regard to other persons engaged on the site who are not following proper health and safety procedures, please ensure that you advise your contact at the client. The actions of other persons may be placing you at a foreseeable risk of an accident. If matters are not addressed, please contact us as soon as possible. You also need to remain aware of the fact that your conduct affects other people’s safety.

Legitimate Business Expenses
A wide-ranging expenses policy will ensure, as far as possible within Government guidelines, that employees are reimbursed, tax free, for all expenses associated with the delivery of their services on behalf of Crest Plus Exchange Limited. More>>

We understand that compliance may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but if you would like to talk to us about this, then please contact us; alternatively, if you would like to experience our compliant procedures, then please contact us to arrange a visit and discuss matters with your business unit.
