We’re pleased to be continuing our support of The Lighthouse Club, the construction industry charity providing financial and emotional aid to workers and their families.
The Lighthouse Club has already done some exceptional work this year to highlight the importance of addressing mental health and reducing stigma within the sector.
Their new campaign, Help Inside the Hard Hat, was launched this April and includes a huge range of proactive support and resources, including a 24/7 Construction Industry Helpline, free mental health and wellbeing training, and access to their free app which is the ultimate self-help tool aimed at those who would like more information about how they can help themselves or seek professional advice.
As proud advocates for mental health support and open discussion within the construction industry, we’re helping raise awareness of the Help Inside the Hard Hat campaign to support all our construction contractors and their families.
Since the beginning of the year, Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity has supported 872 families through crisis, donated £139,601 in charitable giving & support, and £174,845 in supporting building mental health with wellbeing training and innovation.
